Katharina Jakob represents a holistic, cross‑disciplinary approach to equestrian training. With decades of experience in high‑level sport, equine therapy, and alternative training methods, she supports riders and horses worldwide in achieving their individual goals and dreams.

About me

Born: 1982 in Munich
Raised: Gut Ising, Lake Chiemsee, Germany

I grew up at Gut Ising, where I developed a deep connection with horses and got my first equestrian education from an early age. During my youth, I came into close contact with Akhal‑Teke horses, a breed that has accompanied me professionally ever since.

I competed for Gut Ising primarily in dressage and show jumping and worked as a home rider for international riders.

My riding achievements include:

  • Show jumping up to 1.45 m

  • Dressage up to St. Georg level

 

 

Katharina Jakob is recognized internationally as one of the leading experts on Akhal‑Teke horses.

  • Judge and jury member in Germany, France, Iran, USA, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Russia

  • International consultant for training, breeding, and development of Akhal‑Teke horses

Own Equestrian Center

Equestrian Center in Saarland (2008–2018)

Katharina and her husband founded and run an equestrian center in Germany, where she trained horses and riders in dressage and show jumping, combining classical principles with modern, horse‑friendly methods. She also bred the Akhal Teke Horses.

International Coaching & National Team Work

National Coach of the Turkmen Show Jumping Team ('15–'17)

Founder of a riding school and show‑jumping team in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

National Coach at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games 2017

I am offering international clinics, courses, and individual coaching, working across disciplines.
